Hi! I’m Amanda, an Australian by birth who has lived in London for over 20 years. I moved to London to pursue my career in corporate marketing and worked my way up to Marketing Director level at a young age. Outside of marketing, my biggest passion in life was travel. I visited countries and hotels all over the world during holidays and also for work.
In 2016 I created my first website, The Boutique Adventurer. The site reflected my passion for boutique hotels and more adventurous destinations. I began a new career as a travel blogger and started working with tourism boards and other travel partners. The line between boutique hotels and five-star hotels can easily blur, so I stayed at a wide range of luxury hotels all over the world.
I always do my research before all trips (those for my website and those that are personal) and I have always been frustrated with many of the websites for luxury hotels. Often they provide a list of lovely hotels but it feels impossible to differentiate between them and find the hotel that will best suit the type of trip I am having.
So I thought I would use my London expertise and my luxury hotel expertise and create Five Star Hotels in London. I want you to find the perfect five star hotel in London for your visit.
Now of course, I am lovely but I am not just doing this to be nice. I choose which hotels go on this website and am responsible for the integrity of the reviews. The hotels on this website have paid no fees and won’t even know about this website until they appear.
